“We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we have lost our connection to ourselves” – Andy Goldsworthy
This weekend retreat offers a unique opportunity to step away from everyday life, and enter into a deeper connection with yourself, and to feel in flow with the seasonal rhythms of your natural environment.
Following the philosophy of the Tao and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which revolves around the Chinese 5 element wheel Metal (Air), Water, Wood, Fire & Earth).
Wendy Nash will gently guide you through a unique healing and rejuvenating process that incorporates Wu Tao Dance and Art Therapy practices.
You will learn the five core dances that are the foundation of Wu Tao Dance – a highly accessible and transformative practice that is followed by thousands across the globe.
This style of dance combines powerful music, calming meditation and energising movements that are dynamic yet flowing, and very easy to follow. As you progress through the five dances (one for each element and season), you will notice a sense of ease and flow returning to your body and mind. An expressive art therapy session will follow each dance sequence, to further support this healing process.
